Wild and uncluttered with fewer than seven people for every square mile, it is truly an outdoor recreation paradise. From hiking and fishing to horseback riding and rafting, southwest Montana has it all for the outdoor recreation enthusiast. Here are just a few of the many summer recreation opportunities that the Fairmont area has to offer.
Resort On-Site Activities:
Hot Springs Pools – The Fairmont is known throughout the Northwest for its pools — two Olympic sized swimming pools, and two Mineral Soaking pools. One of each is located indoors and outdoors. The pools are fed by a virtually unlimited supply of 155-degree Natural Hot Spring water, cooled to various temperatures for comfort and maximum enjoyment.

It’s a wet, exhilarating ride into Fairmont’s outdoor pool and you’re guaranteed to make a splash. The water slide uses the hot springs water. The water slide and outdoor pool are open throughout the year.
Golf – Fairmont Hot Springs Resort features an on-site, outstanding 6,741 yard, 18-hole, par 72 layout. Fairmont Hot Springs Resort’s Golf Course was just recently named by Golf Digest as one of the “Best Places to Play.”
In addition to Fairmont’s on-site golf course, the Old Works Golf Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, is located In Anaconda, just 15 miles west of Fairmont Hot Springs Resort.
Whispering Willows Spa – After a day of activities or meetings, let us pamper you at the Whispering Willows Spa. Overlooking the scenic resort golf course, the Spa offers River Rock Massage, Native American Raindrop Therapy, Swedish Massage, Reflexology, Exfoliations, Parrafin Wax Bath, Mud Treatments, Hair Salon, Manicures, Pedicures, and more.
